Zine Unscene: Create Without Expectations

Zine Unscene is about creating art without pressure or perfection. This session captures a moment in time, fostering community connection and creativity. What you start during the session, you finish—no taking it home for endless adjustments. The resulting art will be scanned and combined into a magazine, a memory of the collective experience, available for pickup a few weeks after the event.

What to Expect:

Meditation & Creativity:

• Janie, owner of Ignite Your Flow, will guide us through a brief meditation to ground ourselves before transitioning into thoughtful creation.

• Ilyssa, the Zine leader, will reflect on the session through written pieces and poems that will be included with the scanned art in the magazine.

Creating Without Expectations:

• Forget about perfection and enjoy the process. This is about tapping into your authentic inner artist and creating freely.

• No prior art experience is needed—this is an inclusive space for everyone.

• All art supplies are provided; just bring yourself and a smile!

Takeaway:

A digital copy of the collective magazine is included in your ticket or you have the option to pay an additional $15 printing fee for a hard copy of the magazine.

• $15 per ticket includes all art supplies, a guided meditation by @igniteyourflow, and a digital copy of the collective magazine.

• Optional: Additional $15 printing fee for hard copy magazine - can be paid at the event via Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp, or cash.
